Celebrating 250 years!
A softball game between Pembroke and Allenstown was held at Memorial Field on Friday, August 21, 2009 as part of the Semi-quincentennial festivities. The game began at 6:00 pm and shortly after the National Anthem the skies opened up with a downpour. There were at least 25 players (male and female) form each town that participated and did not let their spirits get dampened by the rain. A good time was had by all that attended.
