Dog licenses and collection of dog fines
Dogs must be licensed yearly by April 30th. You must bring in the current rabies certificate. The fees are as follows: non-neutered, non-spayed is $9.00, neutered or spayed is $6.50, for an owner who is 65 years of age or older $2.00 for the first dog and regular fees for each additional dog. There is a $1.00 late fee per month beginning June 1st for late renewals. As of June 20th, owners can be fined $25.00 for each unlicensed dog. If you and/or the dog are new to Pembroke, your dog must be licensed within 30 days. If the dog was issued a current license in another town the fee is $1.50 for a transfer, you must provide the current rabies certificate and a copy of the current license
