Story Time back again on January 3 &4 and every Tuesday and Wednesday at 10:30AM. 

 

January 7: Cookie Club starts for kids 0-10 years old. Be a smart Cookie and read this winter. Join our Cookie Club! Sign up on Jan. 7 or any time after. Every time you come to the library to borrow books you get your cookie card stamped. You also get to put your name on a paper cookie and put it on our big Cookie Jar. On March 25 we will have a Cookie Club Celebration where we will read crazy cookie stories and decorate cookies of all kinds.

February 4, 11, 18, 25, at 11:00-12:00. Join us for four Saturdays in February to Crochet Caps for a Cause!  For kids 7 and older, and adults. Do you already know how to crochet? This is for you! Do you want to learn to crochet? This is for you too! We will be crocheting caps for children in Pembroke and elsewhere. Please pre-register at the Library or by calling 485-7851. 

February 23; March 2, 9, 30; April 6,13 at 7:00PM Yoga. Kara O'Connell, certified Yoga teacher will be leading the sessions.  Call the library at 485-7851 to register - space is limited.  Bring your own mat!

March 1 at 6:30PM. Author Zoie Little, "Black, White or Other" will present her new book of self acceptance.  Books will be available for purchase.

March 4: Dr. Seuss' Birthday Party, at 11:00AM-12:00Noon. Let's celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday with stories, games and birthday cake. Pre-registration required.

March 25: Cookie Club Party, at 11:00AM-12:00Noon. For age 0-10. Let's read some crazy cookie stories and decorate cookies of all kinds. There will also be a craft to make and take home. Pre-registration required.

April (8)9-15: National Library Week. Join us to celebrate our local Library.    April 8 at 11:00AM: Author visit with Michael Edgecomb. We will hear about Michael Edgecomb's book To Fly on a Cloud: New Hampshire. This is a fun story about two children on an exciting and magical adventrure in New Hampshire.  The book is good for children ages 8-12 but any age will enjoy hearing from this author.  April 11 & 12 at 10:30-11:45: Story Time for ages 15 mos-5 years old. April 12 at 1:00-2:00PM: Homeschool Writing Club. April 12 at 6:30: Family Night. Join us for a fun evening of music for the whole family with the program "Music in my Pockets" by Jeff Warner. www.nhhumanities.org/presenters/jeff-warner. This program is sponsored by the New Hampshire Humanities.

May 20: Gardening Event , at 11:00AM-12:00Noon for children ages 4 and older, and adults. We will learn new things about gardening, plant a seed to take home, plant our annual Sunflower House and plant flowers by our Library sign. Pre-registration required.
