The Friends of the Library
We are a group of volunteers who work to enhance the services offered by the Pembroke Town Library. The “Friends” group is a non-profit organization that helps to make the public aware of the offerings at the library and the need for public support of the library’s programs. The “Friends” are volunteers that help at the library when needed, provide additional programming and raise funds for special projects at the library.
What better way to get involved than to become a Friend of the Library. Meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30PM. Feel free to drop in and see what this group is all about.
April 28, 2010 at 1PM - come to the library to see a great movie "UP"
April 30, 2010 at 6:30PM - there will be a showing of the movie 2012 - don't miss it.
May 22, 2010 is the Spring yard sale from 8:00AM to 2:00PM. Sign up for a space for only $7.00. Call the library at 485-7851 for more information.
