Library Summer Reading Program
Each summer the Pembroke Town Library offers a program for readers and non-readers from the last week of June through the first week of August. Materials are available after June 1st and sign ups begin the last week of June. For every 30 minutes a child reads or is read to, a ticket is placed in the treasure chest for prizes at the end of the program.
This summer the theme is: “Make a Splash - Read!” It’s also lots of fun for ages 4-12 years old.
Be sure to check into our Teen Summer Reading program -"Make Waves at the Library". A special visit from author, Marie Harris, will be a writing workshop not to miss!
