Library Summer Reading Program
Each summer the Pembroke Town Library offers a program for readers and non-readers from the last week of June through the first week of August. Materials are available after June 1st and sign ups begin the last week of June. For every 30 minutes a child reads or is read to, a ticket is placed in the treasure chest for prizes at the end of the program. All tickets must be in the treasure chest by August 1, 2012.
This summer was AMAZING! More readers signed up than ever before, more minutes were read, more children enjoyed the programs and Camryn is the happy owner of a new bicycle and helmet thanks to 7SIDING who provided all of the prizes again this summer.
