Chuck Schmidt

Capt. Schmidt is a thirty year veteran of the Pembroke Fire Department.  His current duties, other than leading his company, include overseeing the maintenance of all portable pumps and generators.  Capt. Schmidt also coordinates all driver/operator training for the department.  Capt. Schmidt is a civil engineer and he retired from the NH Department of Transportation where is was the Administrator for the Bureau of Right of Way.

When not serving the citizens of Pembroke, Capt. Schmidt enjoys woodworking, gardening, sports and American History.  He often can be found interacting with his three grandchildren.  Capt. Schmidt also has a son who is a past member of the department.
