Complaints Against Police Personnel

The public image of this Department is determined in part to our professional response to allegations of misconduct against it or its employees. All complaints received from the public will be investigated. You may file a complaint in person, via phone, in writing, or by e-mail. Anonymous complaints will be investigated as completely as possible. Department members shall receive complaints courteously and shall handle them efficiently. After you file a complaint you will receive a letter from the Chief of Police acknowledging your complaint. The Chief will keep you posted of the process of the investigation and will inform you of its out come.
