Erik Paulsen

Assistant Chief Paulsen is a graduate of Pembroke Academy and the University of New Hampshire and has been serving the department since 1987 alongside his father, Harold.  While attending UNH Erik was a member of the Durham Fire Department call force.

After nineteen years in the family periodical distribution business Erik began work with Computac, Inc. in 2013 where he is presently employed as a customer service representative.  Erik is married and he and his wife have a son.  In his free time he volunteers as an Assistant Scoutmaster with Boy Scout Troop 270, enjoys reading, camping and hiking.
