Jeffrey Cyr

Capt. Cyr is the company officer for Company 3 which is primarily responsible for Tower 1 and Engine 3.  Capt. Cyr's responsibilities also include managing the thermal imaging and multi-gas metering equipment.  He is in charge of ladder and hose testing.

Capt. Cyr's interests include camping and restoring cars and trucks with his sons.  Capt. Cyr also is proud of his daughers, one of whom, is also a member of the Pembroke Fire Department.  Jeff comes from a long family history of firefighters in the Bloomfield CT area. His father was the retired Deputy Chief and Training Officer with over 55 years of service to the Bloomfield Fire Department.  This position is now held by his cousin.  Jeff's grandfather was the first fire chief of Bloomfield who started the department by donating one of his Model A farm trucks to be used as the first fire engine.
