K-9 Unit

Sgt. Fiske and Bucca

The Pembroke Police Department started working on a Police Canine program in July of 2015.  In March of 2016 the Town of Pembroke agreed to begin the program. The goal was to fund the program with zero tax dollars with the solicitation of donations and Fundraisers. During the following months fundraisers with our citizens and business owners showed and overwhelming response and collected enough money to start and run program.

On 08/2017 the Boston Police Academy matched " Bucca" a Belgian Malinois born 05.09.2016 to Officer Jordan Boisvert.   Bucca and Boisvert graduated from the Boston Police  Academy for Patrol in December of 2017. Both Bucca and Officer Boisvert went back and completed Narcotics training at the Boston Police Academy in September of 2018. In 2021 Officer Boisvert left the department  at which time the department searched for a replacement. Officers from the department were interested in continuing the program and taking over the responsibility of Bucca.  Sergeant Jason Fiske was awarded the position and completed his K9 Academy in December of 2021.

I would like to take this time to thank the following.,
