Operations

The Operations Division of the Department is the meat and potatoes part of the department. The department operates several intricate and sophisticated pieces of apparatus to perform the job in an emergency.  The department responds to many different types of emergencies in the community and provides assistance to other communities through our Mutual Aid agreements.  The Pembroke Fire Department participates in the town's Capital Improvement Program (CIP) which allocates funds on a "pay forward" basis so that when a piece of apparatus needs replacement, the funds are available and there is not a large impact upon the taxes.  To learn more about our fleet and how it operates, please click on the links below to see more.
