Complaints Against Police Personnel

The public image of this Department is determined in part to our professional response to allegations of misconduct against the department or its employees. All complaints received from the public will be investigated. You may file a complaint in person, via phone, in writing, or by e-mail. Anonymous complaints will be investigated as completely as possible. Department members shall receive complaints courteously and shall handle them efficiently. After you file a complaint you will receive notification that the Chief has received the complaint and that it is being investigated.  The Chief will report back to you when the investigation has been completed.
