Solid Waste Advisory Committee

With the approaching expiration of the existing solid waste agreement in 2022, it was voted by the Board of Selectmen at their 07/20/20 meeting to reinstate the previously disbanded Solid Waste and Recycling Committee as the Solid Waste Advisory Committee to review existing Solid Waste Ordinances and prepare for the issuances of a Request for Proposal to deal with the expiration of the existing contract.

The Solid Waste Advisory Committee members were appointed by the Board of Selectmen to review the operations of the solid waste and recycling program and then make recommendations to the Selectmen for implementation of the mandatory recycling program.
